ULA Issues Statement of Gratitude to Those Who Condemned the Bombing of Kyauktaw "India Market"

The United League of Arakan (ULA) issued a statement yesterday, October 7, expressing its deep gratitude to all individuals and organizations who stood in solidarity with the Arakha people and condemned the military junta's war crime following the airstrike on the "India Market" in Kyauktaw, Arakha State, which left 50 innocent civilians dead.
In its statement, the ULA noted that the Arakha people and the organization will forever remember all individuals and organizations that stood in unity with the entire Arakha population and strongly condemned the military junta forces' crimes against humanity and war crimes.
On September 28, 2026, around 12:00 PM, the military junta forces launched an airstrike targeting the vicinity of the India Market and the Kisapanadi Bridge in Kyauktaw, resulting in the deaths of 50 innocent civilians and injuring 57 others.
The ULA stated that the military junta forces are continuously committing war crimes by deliberately targeting crowded civilian areas, including markets and IDP camps.
