ULA Leads Food Assistance Provision to 81 Vulnerable Families in Maungdaw Township

The United League of Arakan (ULA) led a food distribution effort on August 14 to assist 81 families facing livelihood hardships in Maungdaw Township, Arakan.

The distribution effort was spearheaded by the United League of Arakan (ULA) in collaboration with the Administrative Department, the Humanitarian and Development Coordination Office (HDCO), and the Department of Law Enforcement and Public Security (DLEPS) to supply rice rations to affected households.

In July, the United League of Arakan (ULA) similarly led relief efforts to provide rice rations and emergency assistance to flood-affected communities in Mrauk-U Township.

Additionally, the ULA organized field distributions of significant quantities of rice and food supplies to eight severely flood-hit villages across Kyauktaw Township.
