The United League of Arakan (ULA) provided 11.5 million kyats on August 17 to support individuals injured in an airstrike carried out by the terrorist military in Kyauk Gyi Village, Thandwe Township, an area controlled by the Arakha Army (AA).

On the afternoon of August 10, the terrorist Myanmar military launched an inhumane bombing attack on civilians in Kyauk Gyi Village, resulting in 16 deaths and injuring 18 people, while damaging 21 residential homes, according to a statement released by the Arakha Army (AA).

In response to the bombing, the United League of Arakan (ULA) party, the Administrative Department, and the Humanitarian and Development Coordination Office (HDCO) jointly provided aid on August 17. They distributed 8.5 million kyats to 17 individuals with minor injuries at a rate of 500,000 kyats each, and 3 million kyats to 3 individuals with moderate injuries at 1 million kyats each, totaling 11.5 million kyats in assistance.

In addition, the United League of Arakan (ULA) reported that financial assistance will also be provided to the families of those who died and those whose homes were damaged in the attack.

Suffering military losses in ground clashes with the Arakha Army, the terrorist military commission has been continuously targeting civilian-populated areas with air attacks. Consequently, the Arakha Army (AA) has warned residents across the Arakha region to remain constantly vigilant regarding airstrike hazards.
