Terrorist Military Attacks Kyauktaw with Y-12, Injuring 7 Civilians Including Muslim Children

In Arakan, the terrorist Myanmar military launched a continuous bombing attack using a Y-12 military transport aircraft late at night on September 25 around the surroundings of Kyauktaw town.

A Y-12 aircraft from the terrorist Myanmar military's Magway airbase dropped nearly 30 drop-bombs between approximately 2:00 AM and 2:45 AM today on Pyi Taw Thar Ward 9, Paik Thei Village, and Nidin Village in Kyauktaw Township.

As a result of the airstrike, 7 innocent civilians were injured, including 5 Muslims one of whom is a one-year-old Muslim child.

The injured individuals have been identified as 55-year-old U Sein Than and 54-year-old Daw Shwe Yi from Pyi Taw Thar Ward; local Muslim residents 35-year-old U Abu Kalit from Paik Thei Village; and 1-year-old Bibi Saneyar, 8-year-old Bibi Sakhara, 18-year-old Salim, 37-year-old Rohima Katu, and 43-year-old Jabei from Nidin Village.

Among the injured, Daw Shwe Yi sustained severe injuries after being struck in the left abdomen by bomb shrapnel. One-year-old child Bibi Saneyar suffered forehead injuries, while eight-year-old Bibi Sakhara sustained injuries to her right leg.

Furthermore, homes belonging to innocent local civilians in Kyauktaw were damaged during the bombing.

According to local sources, the bombs dropped by the terrorist Myanmar military's Y-12 aircraft landed in areas inhabited by innocent local civilians, including Pyi Taw Thar Ward, PC Paik Thei Village, Wa King Village, and Done Village in Kyauktaw Town.

Additionally, yesterday evening on September 24 at around 5:00 PM, the terrorist Myanmar military also carried out an airstrike on Zee Kaing Village in Rathedaung Township.

Since September 4, the terrorist military junta has launched an offensive into Ponnagyun Township using over 1,000 troops divided into multiple columns. However, facing defeats against the Arakan Army (AA), the military has been continuously conducting airstrikes and artillery shelling targeting civilian residential areas unrelated to military operations.
