A friendly football tournament featuring diverse ethnic groups was held in the Arakan region yesterday, April 10, to commemorate the 17th Anniversary of the founding of the Arakan Army (AA).


The tournament was organized not only to honor the anniversary of the army's establishment but also with the aim of promoting unity among the various ethnic groups residing within Arakan State and strengthening social cohesion.


The event was attended by officials from various departments of the Arakan Army (AA), representatives from different ethnic communities, leaders of the Muslim community, and other ethnic leaders.


Following the matches, an awards ceremony was held by the Arakan Army (AA). Prizes and cash rewards were presented to the first and second-place teams who achieved the best results in the competition.
