Junta Drone Drops Bombs in Kyaukphyu, Killing 2 Displaced Civilians and Injuring 5 Others, Including an Infant

In Kyaukphyu Township, on the morning of January 24, the fascist terrorist military council forces carried out a bombing attack using one kamikaze drone, resulting in the deaths of two displaced civilians and injuries to five others—including an infant—according to local residents.


The deceased are Daw Phyu Nu (81 years old) and U Htwe Daung (56 years old), both from Thayetchaung Village in Kyaukphyu Township. The injured include Maung Aye Min Khine (9 months old) from Soichaungdwin Village, Daw Khin San Win (34 years old), Daw Ma Mya Yin (56 years old) from Thayetchaung Village, Daw Ba Nu (67 years old) from Zaychaung Village, and U Maung Kyaw (63 years old).



Around 12:56 p.m. on that day, a military council kamikaze drone bombed the village school in Mu Yin Village, where displaced people were taking shelter, according to a local resident who spoke to Arakan Princess Media.


Due to the bombing, Daw Phyu Nu and U Htwe Daung, who were sheltering at the school, died instantly on the spot. Additionally, Maung Aye Min Khine, Daw Khin San Win, Daw Ma Mya Yin, Daw Ba Nu, and U Maung Kyaw sustained injuries.


On January 22, the fascist terrorist military council forces also carried out a bombing attack using one suicide drone on Kunbaungkyi Village in Kyaukphyu Township, injuring two civilians.
