It is learned that due to an ambush shooting and attack by the terrorist militant ARSA group, 1 local motorcycle taxi driver who was transporting goods was killed, and 2 others sustained injuries in the northern part of Maungdaw Township along the Rakhine-Bangladesh border.
Yesterday, on October 11, in northern Maungdaw Township, approximately 200 meters south of the Lite Ra Junction Road, 3 local motorcycle taxi drivers were ambushed and attacked by the terrorist militant ARSA group, resulting in 1 killed and 2 injured.
"They were three people coming from Nant Thar Taung village to sell goods. Near Lite Ra village, they were ambushed and shot at by the ARSA group. One was shot in the back, and the bullet exited through his stomach, causing him to die on the spot," a local resident from Lite Ra village told to the local media outlet.

The person killed in the aforementioned shooting is identified as 23-year-old Nyein Chan from Pha Wa Chaung village in northern Maungdaw Township.
The two 23-year-old Thaung Zin and 33-year-old Naing Lin, who were injured and managed to escape, were found by the Arakan Army and received timely medical treatment due to their severe injuries.
These three motorcycle taxi drivers were local residents earning a living by transporting essential consumer goods from Nant Thar Taung to Kyein Chaung.
On October 9, news sources indicate that 3 local males were brutally executed by the terrorist Muslim armed group ARSA.
Similarly, on October 5, a local taxi driver was injured when the ARSA group ambushed and attacked 3 taxi drivers between Lite Ra Junction Road and Thayataung village.
While the Arakan Army is conducting military and political strategies to fully liberate the remaining 3 towns from the hands of the Military Commission, the extremist Islamist militant ARSA and RSO terrorist groups have infiltrated the Arakan region and, in recent days, intensified sudden attacks on Arakan Army security posts, harassing fire from the Bangladesh side, provocative shootings and attacks, killing innocent civilians, and abductions with threats, as stated in the Arakan Army's announcement.
