Global Arakan Network republishes and draws urgent attention to a disturbing report originally published today by Hill Voice, a reputable Bangladesh-based human-rights and indigenous media outlet:
On 25 November 2025, ten armed members of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) detained, blindfolded, bound with ropes and physically assaulted three elderly Tanchangya women from Garjanbonia Para, Reju Mouza, Ghumdhum Union, Naikkhongchhari Upazila, Bandarban District.

Victims (as named by Hill Voice):
Aungkraching Tanchangya (60), wife of Kanu Tanchangya
Malapu Tanchangya (45), wife of Bengya Tanchangya
Malaiche Tanchangya (42), wife of Pulaang Tanchangya
According to the Hill Voice report, the women were bathing in a canal about 200 yards east of their village at around 10:00 am when the ARSA militants seized them. They were blindfolded with black cloth, their hands tied behind their backs, and one woman (Malaiche Tanchangya) was severely beaten. The victims were held captive for four hours before being released in the evening.

Hill Voice further documents that this is only the latest in a string of targeted attacks by ARSA against the Tanchangya community in the same area:
18 November 2025: Five Tanchangya day-labourers nearly abducted
8 October 2025: Suman Tanchangya kidnapped (still missing)
23 September 2025: Wamong Tanchangya kidnapped (still missing)
16 May 2024: Two Tanchangya fishermen abducted in Teknaf (still missing)
Global Arakan Network fully endorses the Hill Voice investigation and calls on the Government of Bangladesh, the international community, and human-rights organisations to immediately address the growing threat that ARSA poses to indigenous hill peoples who have no part in the Myanmar conflict yet are increasingly becoming victims of extremist violence spilling over the border.
