According to a report by Teknaf Today on November 28, a woman was shot and killed by a member of the ARSA terrorist group in Refugee Camp No. 25, Teknaf Township, Cox’s Bazar District, after she refused to submit to rape.
The victim, Israt Fatema (30), had been living with her family in Camp No. 25, Teknaf Township. Her husband, Abdul Hafez, currently works in Malaysia.

Abdul Hafez’s younger brother, Mohammad Sharif (25), who is a member of the ARSA terrorist group, had repeatedly attempted to rape his sister-in-law, Israt Fatema, but she consistently refused and he was unsuccessful each time.
On the night of November 26 at around 11 PM, he tried again to rape her. When she once again refused, he shot her dead with a firearm.
It has been confirmed by Teknaf-based news sources that five other individuals accompanied the ARSA terrorist Mohammad Sharif at the time of the killing.
The ARSA terrorist group, with backing from Bangladeshi intelligence authorities and having obtained weapons from the Myanmar military junta, continues to commit such criminal acts both in Rakhine State and inside Bangladesh.
