ULA/AA Departments and Chin Youth Collaborate on Rainy Season Tree Planting Under the "Green Arakkha" Campaign in the Lay Mro Region

The planting of rainy season trees under the "Green Arakkha" campaign was jointly carried out in the Lay Mro region, Arakan State, by departments of the ULA/AA and the Phone Laung Youth Association (PYA), according to received reports.


Under the Green Arakkha project, a total of 350 trees including teak, pying (ironwood), minzari, and flamboyant (seinpann) trees were collectively planted at monasteries, Christian churches, and schools in several villages across the Lay Mro region.


Additionally, it is reported that the Mrauk-U Township Party Office presented sports equipment to the Chin youth of the Lay Mro region.


The planting of rainy season trees in townships across the Arakan region commenced during the second week of June.


Tree planting activities are being carried out departmentally and communally by local residents and the Arakan People's Revolutionary Government in every township and village.
