Jet fighters from the terrorist Myanmar military launched an intense aerial assault on the Paik Thei and Lan Madaw wards of Kyauktaw Town in the Arakkha region this afternoon, June 17, dropping bombs at least ten separate times.
Furthermore, three jet fighters carried out airstrikes across at least six locations in and around Kyauktaw Town, dropping a total of 14 bombs.
As a result of the bombing raid, seven innocent civilians working at a temporary market in Paik Thei Ward, including a 4-year-old child, lost their lives.
The airstrikes also left more than ten innocent civilians injured and destroyed numerous homes. Sources note that the death toll could continue to rise.
Jet fighters from Magway Air Base, Tadau Air Base, and Naypyidaw Air Base reportedly took turns executing continuous and successive bombing runs during the assault.
The terrorist military's jet fighters specifically targeted the Lan Madaw Ward and a temporary public market in Paik Thei Ward where residents buy and sell goods, dropping 14 bombs between 2:50 PM and 3:40 PM this afternoon.
Facing continuous military defeats across all fronts in the Arakkha war zone against the Arakan Army (AA), the chief war criminal Min Aung Hlaing, left with no alternative, has resorted to intentionally targeting innocent local civilians who have absolutely no involvement in the armed conflict.
