Over 1,000 Flamboyant Trees Planted in Mongyu (105-Mile) Led by Brotherhood Alliance, Including Arakan Army

In the Brotherhood Alliance-administered region of Mongyu (105-Mile), Muse Township, a collective tree-planting initiative led by the Brotherhood Alliance including the Arakan Army (AA) and local residents began on July 25, planting over 1,000 flamboyant (peacock/royal poinciana) trees.

The more than 1,000 flamboyant trees are being planted along the main entrance road to Mongyu (105-Mile) and in the area between Lower Nam-Hwe and Long-Khan villages.

The tree-planting event was joined by local community elders, members of the Arakan Army (AA) and the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA), students, teachers, hospital staff, and members of the municipal department.

According to a report by Mineyu News, a police officer from the Arakan Army (Fire Dragon Military Region), who serves as a member of the local administrative committee, stated that over 300 trees were planted at the 105-Mile entrance on July 25, with further planting continuing toward the exit of 105-Mile and near Lower Nam-Hwe village on the way to Long-Khan village.

Currently, the Brotherhood Alliance is continuously collaborating with local residents to manage administration, education, healthcare, and essential public services in the region.
