FDA Regularly Inspects Pharmacies and Cosmetic Shops Across Various Townships in Arakan

It is reported that the Food and Drug Authority (FDA) under the Arakkha Department of Public Health is accelerating regular field inspections across various townships to protect the health of residents in Arakan and ensure that only quality products are sold in the market.

The FDA conducted unannounced field inspections at pharmacies in various townships to check for the sale of expired drugs.

Additionally, inspectors thoroughly examined whether banned drugs unsafe for public consumption were being imported or sold, alongside reviewing proper drug storage and preservation systems.

Similarly, regular field inspections were carried out at cosmetic shops to prevent the sale of expired products.

The FDA specifically instructed and warned shop owners against importing or selling cosmetics containing prohibited chemicals that could harm consumers' skin and overall health.

The primary objective of conducting these regular market inspections is to ensure that the public can safely and confidently use high-quality medicines and safe cosmetic products.

Furthermore, the FDA will continue to intensify these measures to proactively prevent potential health hazards arising from substandard medicines and dangerous cosmetics.
