Dr. Nyo Tun Aung, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the AA, Attends the Final Match of the Namhkam Township Administration Football Tournament Organized by PSLF/TNLA

It has been learned that Dr. Nyo Tun Aung, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Arakan Army (ULA/AA), attended and encouraged the final match of the Township Administration Football Tournament held in Namhkam, Northern Shan State, which is controlled by the Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA).

The final match, contested between Kaung Tat Ward Team and Pauk Taik Ward Team, took place on October 25. The Kaung Tat Ward Team secured a well-deserved victory by defeating the Pauk Taik Ward Team with a score of 3 goals to 2.

The event was also attended by TNLA Vice Chairman (1) Lt. Gen. Tar Jot Jar, Joint General Secretary (1) Brig. Gen. Tar Ohm Tar Maw, as well as ethnic cultural organization leaders and local elders from the Namhkam area.

Reports indicate that the football tournament featured teams from all 14 wards in Namhkam town. The tournament was organized with the objectives of enhancing the physical fitness and morale of youth, fostering drug-free youth lives, and strengthening unity and friendship through sports.
