In Kara Mit village, within Chin Let Wa Township of Paletwa District, the "Believers Church Myanmar - BELIEVERS CHURCH MYANMAR (BCM)" held a ceremony to promote pastors serving in the Rakhine ecclesiastical jurisdiction and to conduct the annual committee meeting of the jurisdiction. Members of the Paletwa District Party Committee under the Arakan People's Revolutionary Government attended the event and provided donations, as reported by the local media outlet We Love Paletwa.
The ceremony began on October 28, with over 30 attendees, including members of the Paletwa District Party Committee, church leaders, and congregation members.
During the previous military council regime, repeated requests to hold such religious events were denied, and the events were obstructed through ethnic and religious discrimination, according to reports.

The Arakan People's Revolutionary Government does not engage in any ethnic or religious discrimination, granted full permission for the festival, and had members of the Paletwa District Party Committee personally attend to honor the occasion. A Christian pastor expressed great joy and gratitude for this support, as quoted by We Love Paletwa.
Currently, the Arakan Army (AA) has captured and controls 15 townships in the Rakhine region, including Paletwa, and is carrying out public welfare activities in governance, justice administration, rule of law, healthcare, education, and regional development.
