In the Brotherhood Alliance administration region of Mong Yu (105) Mile, Muse Township, northern Shan State, officials from the Arakan Army (FDMR Fire Dragon Military Region) reportedly donated 2,200 Pyi of rice to migrant workers and local residents starting at 9:00 AM today, November 7.

The donation was led by the Police Chief of the Fire Dragon Military Region at the Mong Yu (105) Mile Committee Office, where 220 bags of rice (each containing 10 Pyi) were distributed to local people to mark the 48th birthday of Arakan Army Commander-in-Chief Major General Twan Mrat Naing.

Expressing her gratitude for the donation, a local woman stated, "Thank you very much for donating like this. May the Major General live a long life and achieve even greater success."

Major General Twan Mrat Naing entered the political and revolutionary sphere through the Arakan national revolution movement. He founded the Arakan Army (AA) on April 10, 2009, and has been leading efforts toward organizational building and fulfilling Arakan national aspirations.

Currently, the Arakan Army (AA) controls over 90 percent of Arakan territory and continues offensive operations against the remaining military council bases. The long journey of the city-capturing battles, which began on November 13, 2023, will reach its three-year milestone this coming November 13.

Within these three years, only three cities Sittwe, Kyaukphyu, and Manaung remain to be fully captured by the Arakan Army. Presently, alongside the battles to capture Sittwe, military tensions persist on Ramree Island, with daily intense fighting involving mutual offensives between both sides.
