Another Severely Wounded Woman Dies in Kyauktaw Bombing (Death toll rises to 9)

An elderly woman undergoing medical treatment has passed away, becoming the latest casualty among those wounded by the terrorist military's fleet of jet fighters that carried out bombing attacks in Kyauktaw Town, Arakan.
The deceased, identifies as Daw Ma Aye Hla (62 years old) from Pike Thei Ward, passed away yesterday on June 19 due to the severity of her injuries.
With the passing of Daw Ma Aye Hla following the airstrikes, the total number of fatalities has now reached 9, including an infant and an elderly person.
On June 17, at around 3:00 PM, the terrorist military utilized 4 jet fighters to drop bombs for about an hour, targeting residential wards in Kyauktaw Town, civilian areas in Lan Ma Daw Village, and rows of market stalls.
A total of 19 innocent civilians, including a 9-month-old infant, were wounded during the bombing attacks. Following the death of the elderly woman who was undergoing medical treatment, 3 others remain in critical condition with severe injuries.
According to compiled records, numerous buildings—including residential houses and temporary market stalls—were destroyed due to the terrorist military junta's aerial bombing attacks in Kyauktaw Town on June 17, resulting in total damages valued at over 25,000 lakh Kyats.
