Airstrike by Military Commission in Thandwe Town Killed One Civilian and Injured Five

In Rakhine State, Thandwe Town was subjected to an airstrike by the Military Commission around 8:00 PM yesterday, resulting in the death of one civilian and injuries to five others, according to U Khaing Thukha, the spokesperson for the Arakan Army.
Due to two bombing attacks, one individual, U Nyi Nyi, was killed, and the injured include Maung Thant Zin Phyo, aged 6 (son of U Nyi Nyi), Maung Aung Thiha Soe, aged 14 (son of U Nyi Nyi), Daw Khin Khin Thet, aged 37 (daughter of U Sein Maung Kyi), Daw Khin Twe, aged 53 (daughter of U Tin Nyunt), and U Tun Naing Min, aged 42 (son of U Hla Tin).

The Military Commission’s jet aircraft conducted two airstrikes in Thandwe Town’s Ward No. 4 after 8:00 PM. Among the injured are a minor child and a pregnant woman.
Additionally, all the civilians killed and injured in the bomb explosion were from Ward No. 4 in Thandwe Town.
Similarly, on September 26, the Military Commission carried out an airstrike around 4:00 PM on Taungup Town’s Tapu Monastery, causing the entire monastery building to be destroyed by bomb impacts.
