The United League of Arakan/Arakan Army (ULA/AA) has distributed food assistance to Muslim communities in Buthidaung Township to mark the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, according to local residents.

The aid distribution was carried out on March 26, with Tan Hlyauk Kan Village serving as the central collection point for beneficiaries.

Residents received essential food items, including rice, cooking oil, salt, canned fish, and other basic supplies. The distribution event was attended by ULA/AA officials and local administrative representatives, villagers said.

A local resident expressed appreciation for the assistance, noting that the support was timely and helpful, and voiced hope for continued aid in the future.

Eid al-Fitr celebrations were also held across multiple townships in Rakhine State under the administration of the Arakan Army, with officials from the Arakan People’s Revolutionary Government attending and supporting the events, according to sources.
