Two Muslims Arrested with Drugs in Bangladesh Refugee Camp

It is reported that two Muslims from a Muslim refugee camp in the Whykong area of Ukhia Township, Bangladesh, were arrested with drugs by the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on June 5th.
The two arrested individuals are Kifayat Ullah (30 years old), son of Amir Hussein, and Hobayet (18 years old), son of Maulvi Rafia. Both reside in Block-21, B-3 of the Bhotala refugee camp.
They were apprehended after attempting to flee upon arriving near the BGB post located at border pillar BRM-18.
Upon inspection, authorities discovered two airtight blue packages containing approximately 60,000 Yaba drug tablets.
The seized Yaba tablets and the arrested suspects will be transferred to the Teknaf Police Station for further legal proceedings.
