Local residents reported that reconnaissance flights were conducted by reconnaissance aircraft of the terrorist Myanmar military over the Arakan State townships of Ponnagyun, Rathedaung, Kyauktaw, Mrauk-U, Anjanapura, and Wira Thani during the morning of today, October 15.

Residents stated that an ATR 42 MPA reconnaissance aircraft, which took off from the terrorist Myanmar military's Meiktila Air Base, flew reconnaissance loops over Mrauk-U and Kyauktaw Townships at over 9:00 AM today. Following this, it continued over Ponnagyun and Rathedaung Townships at past 9:30 AM, and circled Wira Thani Township at past 10:00 AM.

"They circled and scouted for quite a long time in Mrauk-U and Kyauktaw, and then we saw them heading over to Ponnagyun," said a Kyauktaw resident. "The fact that they scouted like this in broad daylight implies they are targeting crowded places for potential bombing. The main thing is that everyone needs to be extra careful of the airstrike danger, though we also shouldn't panic excessively."

Similarly, residents noted that a Y-12 aircraft that took off from the Magway Air Base scouted and passed over Anjanapura Township at past 11:00 AM today before heading toward Wira Thani.

Social workers stated that because the terrorist Myanmar military group's reconnaissance aircraft circled around approximately 6 townships in Arakan State simultaneously this morning, it is necessary to exercise extreme caution against the terrorist Myanmar military's aerial threats.

Locals pointed out that whenever the terrorist Myanmar military group faces defeats on frontline battlefields where they are clashing with the Arakan Army (AA), they consistently bomb residential wards, villages, schools, hospitals, monasteries, and markets where civilian populations reside in Arakan State. This has led to a continuous rise in civilian casualties, making it increasingly necessary to remain highly vigilant against aerial dangers.
