News ၊ November 1, 2026

The terrorist Myanmar military launched a jet fighter bombing attack on the Yo Chaung Bridge, located on the Sittwe-Yangon Highway between Wa Taung and Pan Phaung Chaung village tracts in Kyauktaw Township, Arakan State, at around 5:25 PM today.
Local sources report that the terrorist military's jet fighter dropped a 500-pound bomb directly on the Yo Chaung Bridge. The strike resulted in at least 7 innocent civilians, including commuters, being killed and no fewer than 10 others injured.
"It scored a direct hit on the bridge, and shrapnel also hit the snack shops nearby. Commuters and people in the vicinity sustained casualties. It was extremely severe. Since they are losing the war, this terrorist military is just committing despicable acts against civilians," said a local resident.
The casualty figures from the bombing are currently subject to change, and further details will continue to be investigated and reported.
Around the same time this evening, the terrorist military junta also carried out an airstrike on Mrauk-U town using two jet fighters.
