Terrorist Military Commission Launch Nighttime Airstrike on Gwa Town, Arakan

On August 12, 2026, at around 9:00 PM, fascist terrorist Military Commission troops launched an airstrike using a jet fighter, dropping four bombs in two passes on Kaing Khon Village, Gwa Township, Arakan.

Although no innocent civilians were injured in the airstrike, seven residential houses belonging to local civilians were damaged.

According to the latest updates regarding the airstrike by fascist terrorist Military Commission troops on Kyauk Kyi Village in Thandwe Township on August 10, 2026, at around 1:00 PM, the civilian death toll has risen to 16, with the number of injured reaching 18.

Additionally, on August 12, 2026, fascist terrorist Military Commission troops launched an airstrike using jet fighters on civilian-inhabited areas in Samee Town, Chin State which borders the Arakan region lasting 15 minutes, from 11:25 PM to 11:40 PM.

During that bombing attack, a bomb directly struck the home of innocent civilian U Naing Tin in Ward (2) of Samee Town, causing his 16-year-old daughter, Ma Htwe May (Ma M'Thwee May), to die instantly at the scene. Furthermore, U Naing Tin, his wife Daw Pyaung Nuai, and their three sons around 12 years old Maung Khai Lin Aung, Maung Tun Lin Naing, and Maung Soe Moe Aung sustained injuries.

Four other innocent civilians near the entrance of Samee Town were also injured by bomb shrapnel during the same airstrike incident.
