On June 8th, the terrorist military junta's navy, stationed off the coast of Thae Kone Village in Gwa Township, launched a heavy artillery bombardment targeting mountainous areas in Kyeintali Town, firing no fewer than 10 shells consecutively.

"The heavy artillery shelling started continuously yesterday, June 8th, at around 9:05 AM. We don't even dare to step outside. Since they fired no fewer than 10 rounds, everyone is terrified and panicked," a local resident stated.

Previously on May 21st, the terrorist Myanmar military used two jet fighters to conduct an airstrike on No. 2 Ward in Kyeintali Town, dropping bombs approximately 10 times and injuring nine local civilians.

Similarly on May 20th, the terrorist Myanmar military launched a jet fighter bombing raid targeting No. 1 Ward in Kyeintali Town, which damaged three civilian homes.

The Arakan Army (AA) has strongly urged the public to remain highly vigilant against the fascistic terrorist Military Commission's aerial threats.

The AA noted that in recent days, the military has intensified its attacks on the Arakan region through naval shelling and coordinated airstrikes utilizing three or more jet fighters alongside reconnaissance aircraft in a cowardly and malicious manner.
