The Military Council conducted an airstrike using a jet fighter on Daing Kyi Ward, Aung Tap Village Tract, Mrauk-U Town, Arakan State, it has been learned.


The airstrike took place on August 25, 2025, at around 11:30 PM, resulting in the deaths of 11 civilians and injuries to 21 others, according to reports.


“Last night, around midnight, bombs were dropped. At first, I thought it was rain. Then I heard a loud explosion. I learned it hit Daing Kyi Ward. Over 10 people died, and more than 20 were injured,” a local woman told local sources.

The bomb, dropped by the terrorist Military Council’s jet fighter, struck near an agricultural warehouse in Daing Kyi Ward, exploding and causing numerous casualties and injuries among nearby residents.


During the renewed fighting in Arakan, the terrorist Military Council’s airstrikes, heavy artillery, and small arms attacks have resulted in 926 civilian deaths and 1,954 injuries, as stated by U Kyaw Thukha during the 10th press conference of the ULA/AA on August 11, 2025.
