Local Rakhine, Muslim Youths and ULA/AA Soldiers in Community Cleaning at Religious Buildings in Buthidaung

Local Rakhine and Muslim youths, departmental officials, and Arakan Army (AA) servicemen and servicewomen jointly conducted a community cleaning initiative starting from August 9 at the Grand Jame Mosque in Ward (3) and the Myo Oo Monastery in Ward (5) of Buthidaung, Maungdaw District, Arakan.


A ULA official stated that a total of 126 people from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds participated in the joint cleaning activity.


The event was carried out as part of a Social Harmony Campaign aimed at promoting social cohesion among the diverse religious and ethnic communities residing in Arakan, fostering mutual respect and recognition, creating an environment for peaceful coexistence, and ensuring a clean and pleasant environment.


Similarly, in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine and Muslim youths are steadily working together to conduct ongoing Social Harmony Campaigns to foster deeper harmony across diverse communities.
