Breaking News: Military Junta Launches Airstrikes in Buthidaung Township

Local residents reported that the Military Commission Air Force has been conducting bombing attacks on Buthidaung Township in Arakan State today, July 1, using Y-12 aircraft as well as jet fighters starting from just after 10:30 AM.

"We can hear the sounds of continuous bombing. They have already dropped no fewer than 10 bombs. We understand that they are bombing villages located on the opposite bank of Buthidaung town," a local resident stated.

Detailed information regarding the bombing attacks is still being investigated.

The Military Commission has been continuously carrying out airstrikes across Arakan State, leading to a daily rise in casualties among innocent civilians as well as an increasing amount of damage to civilian homes.
