At Least 60 People in Arakan Killed or Injured due to the Terrorist Junta Artillery and Air Attacks in February

According to data compiled by One Nation News, during the month of February, the terrorist military council's heavy weapons shelling and airstrikes in the Arakan region resulted in at least 29 civilians killed and more than 30 injured.
The terrorist military council carried out at least six airstrikes and heavy weapons attacks on the Arakan region in February.
On February 8, around 1:00 PM, the terrorist military council's air force conducted an airstrike on Thandwe town, injuring two civilians: U Aung Than Lin (age 50) and U Tin Aung.
On February 12 (the 79th Union Day), at around 9:00 PM, the terrorist military council bombed several locations where civilians and war-displaced people were residing in Mrauk-U and Kyauktaw townships in the Arakan region. This resulted in the deaths of 8 people, including a newborn infant, and at least 17 others injured.
Additionally, on the evening of February 14 around 5:00 PM, while a terrorist navy vessel was stationed in the sea off Kyaukpyu Township near Kyauk Ka Lay village lower area, heavy weapons fire from the ship caused the immediate death of Daw Saw Phyu (age 80) from Kyauk Pyouk village.
On February 24 around 2:00 PM, the terrorist military council carried out an airstrike on the market in Yoe Ngu village, Ponnagyun Township. In this incident, 18 civilians, including children, were killed, and at least 14 others were injured.
Most of those killed and injured in this incident were women. The attack deliberately targeted innocent civilians during the busy midday market hours when people were buying and selling goods.
The terrorist military council, facing defeats in battles with the Arakan Army, is targeting civilian residential areas unrelated to the fighting. The Arakan People's Revolutionary Government urges the people of Arakan to exercise special caution against the dangers of the military council's airstrikes and heavy weapons.
