ARSA Commander Involved in Multiple Crimes, Including Kidnapping, Arrested in Bangladesh

In Bangladesh, an Ansar Battalion unit at the Lambasia police post in Ukhiya Township, Cox's Bazar District, arrested a commander of the extremist Islamic militant armed group ARSA yesterday. The suspect is implicated in numerous crimes, including kidnapping.
Legal procedures are currently underway to ensure the detainee is prosecuted according to the law. Investigations into the allegations and subsequent legal actions aim to bring the truth to light.
Extremist Islamic militant terrorist armed groups including ARSA, RSO, ARA, and RIM are based in Muslim refugee camps inside Bangladesh.
They have been committing terrorist acts and criminal offenses, such as kidnapping, unlawful detention and murder, rape, and drug trafficking against local populations along the Arakan–Bangladesh border.
