News ၊ August 8, 2026

During the first week of August, the Arakha Public Health Department under the Arakha People's Revolutionary Government conducted its second free dental examination and treatment campaign for internally displaced persons (IDPs) suffering from dental issues in the Arakan.
During this medical mission, a total of 180 IDP patients received medical examinations and treatments, with 120 of them undergoing tooth extractions.
In addition to treatments, health personnel demonstrated proper tooth-brushing techniques, distributed toothpaste and toothbrushes, provided over 500 family hygiene kits, and delivered health education sessions on proper handwashing and diarrhea prevention.
Furthermore, dentists are set to continue offering free dental examinations and treatments to dental patients across Arakan, including displaced civilians.
Earlier in July, the Arakha Public Health Department provided free dental care to 120 displaced patients in Arakan State, with 85 receiving tooth extractions and fillings.
Alongside dental care, the Arakha Public Health Department of the Arakha People's Revolutionary Government is actively delivering primary healthcare services across the Arakan region, including ophthalmic surgeries, routine immunizations, and maternal and child healthcare.
