Arakan Army Launches Assault on Terrorist Military’s "Point 500" Defense Positions and Outposts in Padaung Township

The Arakan Army (AA) and its allied forces are reportedly launching a major offensive against the defense positions and outposts of the "Point 500" strategic hill, located near the terrorist junta’s Defense Products Factory No. 16 (Ka-Pa-Sa 16) near Mathon Village, Padaung Township, Bago Region.

During the assault on four of these tactical outposts, the Arakan Army successfully seized over 20 bodies of terrorist military personnel along with a significant haul of weapons and ammunition.

As terrorist Myanmar military troops retreated in disarray during the battle, AA forces have been conducting clearing operations to pursue them. Simultaneously, they are continuing their offensive to crush the remaining defense positions and outposts in the area.

In an effort to prevent the fall of Ka-Pa-Sa 16, the terrorist Myanmar military reinforced its strength on May 5. Currently, junta forces are puttting up stiff resistance from outposts including Point 506, Point 535, and Point 268.
