In Rakhine State, members of the Arakan Liberation Party (ALP), led by Daw Saw Mya Raza Lin and based in the Thitpoktaung Ward (Factory Ward) of Sittwe town, are reportedly being transported to the Sittwe frontline battleground in the same manner as terrorist military council troops, according to sources.
More than 40 ALP troops departed around 2:00 PM on February 4 from Mingan Ward in Sittwe town toward the Sittwe military command area, according to local residents.
These approximately 40 ALP members used a HIJET vehicle arranged by the terrorist military council troops, fully armed, and headed to Maung Ni Pyin village in Sittwe Township, eyewitness locals said.
In this way, ALP members are being sent to the Sittwe frontline battleground alongside military council troops, and they are reportedly suffering heavy casualties while fighting to the death on the front lines with the military council soldiers.
The ALP party, led by Daw Saw Mya Raza Lin, is providing security in Sittwe town under the pretext of security measures, arbitrarily arresting town residents, forcibly recruiting new members, and collaborating with the terrorist military council to provide military training, according to sources.
