11 Killed as Myanmar Terrorist Military Bombs Ponnagyun IDP Camp

News has been received that five more innocent displaced civilians undergoing medical treatment have passed away after being injured during an airstrike by the terrorist Myanmar military using a jet fighter on the Yoe Ngu Byarla IDP camp in Ponnagyun Township, Arakha State, today around 5:30 PM.
Although six displaced persons were initially reported dead on the spot following the bombing, five more displaced persons receiving medical care have since succumbed to their injuries, bringing the total death toll to 11.
Among the 11 people killed in the terrorist military's airstrike, some of those whose names have been identified include 61-year-old U Thun Win, 58-year-old U Thun Sein Maung, 38-year-old Maung Moe Win (aka Lu Gyi Than), and 24-year-old Win Shwe Soe (aka Nyi Chay) from the Kwun Khen Pyin IDP camp, who were present at the Byarla IDP camp for work.
Currently, among the seven displaced persons injured in the air attack, five died of severe injuries while undergoing medical care, while the remaining two injured individuals continue to receive medical treatment.
This IDP camp in Ponnagyun Township primarily houses displaced people from Sittwe Township, including children and elderly residents seeking refuge.
