The United League of Arakan / Arakha Army (ULA/AA) has provided free paddy seeds to farmers whose seedbeds and farmlands were damaged by flooding in Anjanapura Township, Arakan.

On August 5, a total of 220 baskets of paddy seeds were distributed for 440 acres of flood-damaged farmland in Mintinma Village, Anjanapura Township.

Additionally, the ULA/AA supported 100 baskets of paddy seeds for 200 acres of damaged farmland in Lakkhat Village.

Heavy rainfall starting in the first week of July caused widespread flooding across Arakan State, destroying paddy seedbeds and agricultural fields in numerous townships.

Earlier, on August 1, the ULA/AA also distributed paddy seeds for 500 acres of flood-damaged farmland in Kyauktaw Township at a rate of 4 baskets (one bag) per acre.

Currently, the ULA/AA continues to distribute paddy seeds across various townships in Arakan State to assist flood-affected farmers in replanting their damaged crops.
