Four Innocent Civilians Injured in Terrorist Military Airstrikes on Thandwe Town

The fascist, terrorist military launched four airstrikes on Thandwe town in Arakan State today, July 19, leaving four innocent civilians injured.

The injured individuals have been identified as Saung Tha Khin (33), Thet Wai Aung (31), Htet Htet Myat (28), and Tun Naing Win (47), all residents of Ward No. 3 in Thandwe town.

Using a single jet fighter, the terrorist military carried out four bombing runs over Thandwe town at 4:06 PM, 4:13 PM, 4:15 PM, and 4:21 PM, dropping a total of four 500-pound bombs.

Furthermore, the aircraft returned at 4:24 PM to conduct a strafing run using its machine gun.

The dropped bombs struck and detonated at the corner of U Ottama Road and Thitsa Road, as well as along Bogyoke Road in Ward No. 3, Thandwe. Four civilians who were selling goods nearby sustained shrapnel wounds from the blasts.

The impact of the explosions also damaged the residential homes of U Cho Gyi and Daw Saw Kyi in Ward No. 3.

It is reported that some of the injured individuals are currently in critical condition and continue to receive emergency medical treatment.

Similarly, on this very day of July 19, the fascist terrorist military launched another aerial bombing attack on Ma-Ei town in Taungup Township, Arakan State. That attack killed five innocent civilians and injured 14 others, including a Buddhist monk and children.

Civilian casualties and injuries continue to rise across Arakan State as the coup-plotting, terrorist military frequently targets civilian-populated towns and villages with aerial bombardments.

Additionally, the terrorist military junta facing military defeats on the Kyaukphyu front in its clashes with the Arakan Army (AA) has begun destroying roads, communication routes, and bridges connecting Kyaukphyu Township to other regions.
