4 Civilians Injured as Terrorist Myanmar Military Bombs Gwa Township Twice

It is reported that 4 civilians were injured after the terrorist Myanmar military bombed Kanthawt Taung village in Gwa Township, Arakan, twice with a jet fighter yesterday, June 23.


A jet fighter belonging to the terrorist Military Council bombed Kanthawt Taung village, Gwa Township, twice once at 10:18 PM and again at 10:27 PM on June 23 resulting in injuries to 4 local civilians.


The 4 injured victims are Daw Hla Khet Thi (55), Ma Hnaung Thazin Htwe (19), U Chit Swe (52), and U Kyaw Win (60), all from Kanthawt Taung village.


During the first bombing, a bomb landed and exploded near the Christian church in Kanthawt Taung village, causing a broken arm for Daw Hla Khet Thi and an injury to the left hand of Ma Hnaung Thazin Htwe.


In the second attack around 10:27 PM, a bomb exploded near the Kanthawt Taung village school. U Chit Swe sustained severe burn injuries on his head and back, and U Kyaw Win suffered an injury to his hip.


Additionally, 2 houses and 1 ambulance were destroyed, and 2 cattle were killed.

Similarly, at approximately 11:40 AM today, June 24, the terrorist Myanmar Air Force dropped 2 bombs near the former Border Youth Development School in Aung Mye Bodhi Ward, Maungdaw Town, Arakan region.


Previously, around 3:00 PM on June 17, the terrorist military junta carried out airstrikes on residential areas, a clinic, and a temporary market in Kyauktaw town and Lanmadaw village using 4 jet fighters for about an hour, killing 9 civilians and injuring 18 others.
